Sizing Guide

No one wants a tee that fits like a sausage casing—or a hoodie you could camp in. A couple of quick measurements before ordering can save you from stitching yourself up.

Ocker tees, tanks and hoodies use quality AS Colour garments. Different garment styles can fit differently, so always check the size chart on the individual product page before choosing your size.

The best way to find your size

Don’t just measure your body and take a wild stab. Grab a similar garment you already own that fits the way you like, lay it flat and compare its measurements with the chart on the product page.

For the most accurate comparison:

  1. Choose a similar garment—a tee for a tee, tank for a tank or hoodie for a hoodie.

  2. Lay it flat on a firm surface without stretching it.

  3. Take the measurements shown below.

  4. Compare them with the product’s size chart.

  5. If you’re between sizes, the larger size is generally the safer choice.

How to measure

Chest width

Measure straight across the garment from armpit to armpit.

This is a flat garment measurement, not the full measurement around your chest. Double it if you want to compare it with a full chest circumference.

Body length

Measure from the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.

Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve or cuff.

Some hoodie and raglan styles may measure sleeves differently, so follow the diagram or description provided with the product’s size chart.

Choosing your fit

Standard fit

Choose your usual size if you like a regular, everyday fit.

Relaxed fit

Go up one size if you prefer extra room or a looser streetwear-style fit.

Closer fit

If you prefer a more fitted look, compare your favourite fitted garment with the measurements rather than automatically sizing down.

Between sizes

Go with the larger size. A little extra room is generally easier to live with than something that’s too tight.

Product tips

T-shirts

Most Ocker tees have a regular unisex-style fit. Compare the chest width and body length with a T-shirt you already wear regularly.

Tanks

Tank cuts and arm openings can feel different from T-shirts. Compare the measurements with another tank rather than using your T-shirt size alone.

Hoodies

Consider what you’ll wear underneath. If you want room for layering or prefer a relaxed hoodie fit, going up one size may be the better option.

Check the correct chart

The exact measurements can vary between garment styles, even when they’re made by the same brand.

Use the size chart attached to the particular product you’re buying as the final guide. Also check whether the chart is showing:

  • Product measurements: measurements of the garment itself

  • Body measurements: measurements taken around your body

Don’t compare a flat garment chest width directly with a full body chest circumference.

Double-check before ordering

Every Ocker product is made to order, so we generally can’t exchange an item because the wrong size was selected.

Before adding it to your cart, double-check:

  • The selected product

  • The selected size

  • The selected colour

  • The size chart for that particular garment
